St. Alphonsus Celebrates 125 Years
Redemptorist priests and 17 School Sisters of Notre Dame joined old friends at a welcome Mass on April 27th at St. Alphonsus Church in Chicago as part of the church’s 125th anniversary celebration. Over the years, about 113 young women have entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame from “St. Al's.” Present for the occasion were Sisters from Milwaukee who taught at St. Al's school. A reception was held in the school and many memories of good times were shared by all.
