On Saturday November 3, 2007, Sister Anne Marie Dorff was presented the St. Augustine medal in recognition of her generous service to the people of the Diocese of Bridgeport. The citation included the following statement from Msgr. Richard Shea, pastor of St. Catherine of Sienna Parish: “For the past 30 years, Sister Anne Marie has been a vital part of our parish community. A caring and dedicated person, she has consistently extended herself to thousands of students and parents with a Christ-like spirit of gentleness and compassion.”
The award ceremony took place at St. Augustine Cathedral in Bridgeport, Ct. The Most Reverend William Lori, Bishop of Bridgeport, was the celebrant.
