In celebration of the 135th Anniversary of St. Margaret of Scotland School in Chicago, Illinois, the School Sisters of Notre Dame were honored at the 10am mass at St. Margaret of Scotland on Sunday, November 1st. The grammar school was founded by the SSNDs in 1874, and an SSND Principal served until the late 1990s. Sr. Joellyn Grandchamp and Sr. Susan Curtain are currently active at St. Margaret’s offering educational assistance and tutoring where needed. We are pleased that a relationship continues between the SSNDs and St. Margaret of Scotland School and Parish.
