School Sisters of Notre Dame continue to live the vision of Foundress Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger in a variety of ways. Below our Sisters share stories of their work and ministry.
Sisters Stories
When I said yes to visiting in-person at St. Saviour High School in Brooklyn, NY, to speak with the young women there about the work of Beyond Borders, I was both nervous and excited at the same time.
Bit 'O Fun on at Ozanam on St. Pat's Day
Irish music, hats, food, and fun-filled the Ozanam Sisters' St. Patrick's Day.
The morning prayer was followed by the celebration, which included delicious Irish food and, of course, beer!

On Saturday, March 18, a Retreat Day for the 27 Ozanam Sisters, planned and facilitated by Sisters Justine Nutz and Connie Carrigan, included music, poetry, prayer, sharing, singing, and fun time at the end.
Celebrating Jubilee!
Celebrating Jubilee!
Each year, we honor and celebrate our sister Jubilarians. Jubilee is a special time to rejoice with our Sisters as they celebrate their 25, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75, or 80 years of faithful love and service to God.
Learn about this year's Jubilarians
We go forth daily in the spirit of Mother Theresa, remembering her words: "Poor and abandoned, we began the work of God in supernatural faith and confidence... let us continue to serve the Triune God all our Lives with Joy."
