The Class of 2024 joins a 150-year legacy of alumnae who have taken part in this special day. White gowns have been part of NDP’s commencement since the school’s opening when the 1877 student handbook directed students to have “a white muslin dress, white sash and gloves for commencement…”
The NDP community joined together in celebration at the End of the Year Liturgy, where we officially closed out our 150th Anniversary Year. Gratitude, faith, and community were the focus of this spiritual gathering.

A handful of tenacious teens from Holy Angels spent the night of June 7 at the Academy’s first Sleep Out. Together, these students raised $5,410 to benefit Covenant House, an organization that provides shelter for young people who are experiencing homelessness and trafficking. 
The class that entered Holy Angels at the height of the pandemic graduated on May 31 with pomp, circumstance, and a cathartic cap toss. The Academy recognized the Class of 2024 at a jubilant commencement ceremony and Baccalaureate Mass celebrated by The Most Reverend Michael A. Saporito....

The morning of June 5, Villa Assumpta Sisters were treated to a traveling exhibit of IND heritage that is permanently housed at Notre Dame of Maryland University.  

On May 15, 2021, archival documents from the Institute of Notre Dame (IND) arrived safe and sound at their new home at the School Sisters of Notre Dame's North American Archives (NAA) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
