Angels are unlocking exciting educational opportunities with the Academy of the Holy Angels’ new articulation agreements. Now, students who make the grade earn automatic acceptance to a growing list of highly regarded colleges and universities. In addition to making a seamless transition to college, Angels enjoy significant financial benefits, including substantial scholarships.
AHA Principal Jean Miller launched the Academy’s program during the 2023-24 academic year, taking Holy Angels’ reputation for academic excellence to the next level. Miller brought this program to AHA after she spoke with a family whose teen enjoys the benefits of an articulation agreement at a high school in another state.
“Students see that if they are doing well here, they will do well in college,” Miller said. “This also helps families, because there are guaranteed scholarships that ease the cost of college.”
Miller added that the financial benefits associated with AHA’s articulation agreements can include discounts for students who reside on campus.
Currently, AHA’s partners include Notre Dame of Maryland University, Siena College, Caldwell University, St. Thomas Aquinas College, Assumption University, Dominican University, and Mount Saint Mary College. Additional agreements are in progress, including the brand new partnership with the University of Scranton that was finalized in mid-May.
Angels who wish to attend a partner school must still go through the college application process and must demonstrate that they meet the academic criteria set by each college or university.
AHA’s articulation agreements include recognition of earned credits, clear pathways toward a desired degree, and academic advice and counseling. Students benefit from dual enrollment programs, joint degrees, and cooperative educational experiences that prepare them for success in their chosen careers.
