Sister Gloria grew up in the city of Waterloo. During the Christmas season, her family drove around to various churches just to see the cribs.
One display included an angel that would bow down.
One memorable Christmas, Sister Mary was selected to sing Come Gather Dear Children in her church along with one other child. She remembers the experience fondly!
After Christmas Mass, the family ate turkey and opened the gifts that had been kept under the tree.
