Climate Change

The Season of Creation began on September 1! Check out this beautifully illustrated overview of the climate crisis, and consider registering to receive email reflections from EarthBeat every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday throughout the Season of Creation. The reflections, called "At Home in Creation," invite us to develop a deeper sense of being grounded in the place where we live. Immigration

As we continue to pray for our neighbors in Afghanistan, please review the following resources to find ways to help:

A page has been added to the JFI website with information and resources relevant to Afghanistan, including a map with all of the USCCB's resettlement sites and this overview of the different pathways to the United States available for Afghan nationals.

The webpage details:

  • Evacuation Info
  • How the Public Can Help
  • A Map with the location and information about USCCB’s resettlement work across the country.

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington (VA) has created a special announcement flyer with opportunities to volunteer and donate.

Human Trafficking

ECPAT-USA congratulates Google and Apple for taking meaningful steps to combat the online sexual exploitation of children. These critical policy changes are paramount to better protecting children across the country and abroad. It is our hope that other service providers follow their leadership by expanding their child safety measures and policies to counter CSAM, while we continue to advocate for the passage of the EARN IT Act.
