Get WITH It: A Crisis of Sustainability

At the heart of our lackluster response to our planet Earth’s current crisis of sustainability is what Pope Francis describes in Laudato Si as a modern anthropocentrism.  This exaggerated importance of the human has led to humans losing their sense of place in and relationship to Earth.  He writes, “neglecting to monitor the harm done to nature and the environmental impact of our decisions is a striking sign of a disregard of the message contained in the structure of nature itself…”
