Sister Margaret Glick, who has run the Villa Assumpta gift shop since 2010, coordinated a raffle and sale with the help of Sister Judith Ring, in support of children in Haiti. The Angels for Haiti raffle raised $538 for the School Sisters of Notre Dame-Beyond Borders partnership.
Sister Margaret said the raffle attracted many supporters of the work being done in Haiti to end child slavery. Brian Stevens, staff member of Beyond Borders, said in his note of thanks, "The SSND partnership has been such a blessing for the people of Haiti."
