A Blessed Day at Villa Assumpta

The Sisters and Friends of Villa Assumpta and Rosary Community were recently blessed with an informative and emotional presentation about life in Ukraine, delivered by Alina Ternova and her daughters, Angelina (15) and Leeza (12).

The family moved into the other house on our property last summer. They also shared the experience of transitioning into life in the U.S.

Alina and her daughters joined us for our 10 AM Mass, followed by dinner in our main dining room.

We prayed the Solidarity Prayer for Women and Girls led by Sisters Mary Jean Mulch, Yvette Trentler, and Marianne Roderick of the Annunciation Community in the Assembly Room.

Angelina wants to learn how to play the piano, and Sister Rita Bueche offered to teach her.

Leeza is interested in art, and Sister Theu showed her the Art Studio and will share some of her art supplies.

We also took up a collection and were able to present the family with a monetary gift of $800.
