In this spirit, we, the SSND Community at 3030 Park, Bridgeport celebrated Evensong on the Feast of Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, February 2nd .
At the same time, we were encouraged by Pope Leo XIV’s message on the World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life: “United with Him, and in Him with one another, your small lights become like the path of a luminous trail in the great plan of peace and salvation that God has for humanity.”
Together in community, we renewed our vows while holding lighted candles in recognition of it being Candlemas Day.
