The dining room at Resurrection Life Center in Chicago was brimming with conversation and laughter when more than 35 sisters, SSND associates, family, and friends gathered to honor Sisters Jeanne McGue - celebrating 75 years of ministry and Margaret Ann Curtin, marking 70 years since professing her first vows as a School Sister of Notre Dame. The glorious sunny June afternoon matched the joy experienced by attendees at the jubilee celebration. Guests relished listening to musicians, Richard and Anthony on piano and violin, who entertained the group with many old-time favorites. A beautifully decorated cake, cookies, and chocolates topped off the fête. "The joy of being together with everyone is what made the day memorable for us," expressed Sisters Jeanne and Margaret Ann. "Thank you for the gift of your presence. May God bless all who joined us." A special thanks was given to the Resurrection advocates and all of the helpers who prepared and arranged the decorations and food.
