"The Lord arranged it beautifully. He didn't ask me about it - it just happened." Sister Xavier Linz was surrounded by sisters and family last weekend as she celebrated her 100th birthday. "Beautiful celebration, I have to say, because it was - the Mass, beautiful. The lunch was lovely. People here are very inventive. I wouldn't have done what they did!" She expressed her deep gratitude for everyone's creativity and love.
Sister Xavier added, "I'm so lucky to have my sister Theresa Mary here." Reflecting on her 79 years as a vowed sister, Sister Xavier said, "I love my mission. I was a teacher from the time I stepped into this place. I loved teaching and being in mission in New York, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. I also taught at the school I attended, Sacred Heart in Highlandtown, Baltimore."
We are all so happy to share in her wonderful 100th celebration of life!
