When Maryland Governor Larry Hogan declared all non-essential businesses be closed, in an effort to combat the spread of coronavirus, Well for the Journey knew they had to find a new way to produce programming in accordance with our mission to promote spiritual wellness, connection, and community. They knew these important connections and feelings of well-being would be needed more than ever in these trying times. So they sought out online solutions, settling on Facebook Live and Zoom.
Free Facebook Live Programming started last evening with a half-hour program led by facilitator Ginny Barnhart and focused on Centering Prayer. If you would like to participate in the recording of that program, please head to the Well for the Journey Facebook Page and "Like" it. You will then be able to access the recording by scrolling down to that post and hitting the Play button.
Well for the Journey is adding additional free programming during the pandemic. It will be delivered in small-group style on the Zoom teleconferencing platform. Well for the Journey has updated their website with some of this programming being offered through the generosity of facilitators who are donating their time. These programs are limited to smaller numbers, and therefore registration (free) is required to participate, as that is how they will send the Zoom log-in information to participants. Also, new programs will be added daily, so keep checking back to join them for those that interest you.
