Get W.I.T.H. it - Nov 8th

On November 12th, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on the legality of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Since the outcome of the case is uncertain, it is imperative that protection for Dreamers be written into U.S. law. Earlier this year, the House of Representatives successfully passed the Dream and Promise Act (H.R. 6), which aimed to provide DACA recipients, TPS holders, and DED holders a pathway to citizenship. The Senate must do its part and bring the Dream Act of 2019 (S.874) to the floor for a vote. This bipartisan bill will ensure that the Dreamers in our communities will be safe, stable, and able to flourish. As School Sisters of Notre Dame, "we believe that immigrants are vital contributors to society," and protection for Dreamers is a moral, economic, and cultural good.

Join us in urging our Senators to take up S.874 and vote "yes" to protect our Dreamers!

During this time, please consider praying these prayers from the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet:
