Presently, and for the last five years, I have been working with refugees from Africa and Malaysia.
The five families that I have been blessed to know have had many needs.
I've tutored the children and studied with adults so they could pass their citizenship tests.
Two are now U.S. citizens, and their children are U.S. citizens along with them!
I truly believe that what we do today spirals forward, no matter how small it may seem.
So many hopes and dreams are fulfilled with just some time and energy. In volunteering, my own hope for a world that will embrace all God's people is strengthened.
Through prayer and action, I commit to continue fulfilling Jesus' challenge to us for as long as I am able.
