My biggest concern is the increasing severity of weather events such as hurricanes. Being a resident of Florida, I see the damage caused, and know it will get worse in the future.
We need to do everything we can to heal the earth, from reducing emissions (carpooling helps) to protecting the sand dunes to help absorb storm surges.
As a Christian, I believe it is our moral obligation to treat the earth with love, just as we are called to treat our neighbors with love.
We have a responsibility to God and future generations to keep Earth a safe and wonderful place to live.
