202. Many things have to change course, but it is we human beings above all who need to change.... A great cultural, spiritual and educational challenge stands before us, and it will demand that we set out on the long path of renewal.
Reflection
We now begin Chapter 6 of Laudato Si’: Ecological Education and Spirituality. Think back to what we as a congregation, as a province, as individuals have done thus far to educate ourselves and others about environmental sustainability, our relationship with earth and each other.
Action
We have committed to do more through the Act of the General Chapter, “We Are Educators in All We Are and Do”. “Education in the spirit of Blessed Theresa, focused on human development and environmental sustainability, is critical for the transformation of our world.” (from the Act) What can you personally do?
