It was a joy and privilege to create a trio of Pentecost art for reflection and enjoyment of the Sisters and other residents at The Watermark.
On our SSND Community Room bulletin board, I featured the Holy Spirit in various avian guises, along with poetry and part of my international feather collection.
Our Pentecost Liturgy was enhanced by roses I shaped into a Pentecost flame, standing on a matching scarf used by my mother to wrap around her curlers at night.
After Communion, 120 handmade Holy Spirit bookmarks - each printed with a gift and a fruit - were blessed by the celebrant.
After they were distributed, delighted and grateful sharing filled our worship space!
