A Relaxing St. Pat's at Waterdown

By Anne MacNeil, LEAD Co-Coordinator

St. Patrick’s Day is a day when everyone wants to be Irish, including the Sisters here at SSND Waterdown!

We gathered together wearing our green for a good old Irish Kitchen Party. We enjoyed Irish Soda Bread, green beer, a wee shot of Bailey’s and refreshing green punch.

Riverdance played in the background, and every so often you could hear the Sisters sing a line or two of their favourite old Irish party tunes.

It was nice to be together in such a relaxed and fun atmosphere!

Today we are back to Lenten preparations and honouring St. Joseph, Canada’s Patron Saint (among many other important titles).

As members of the LEAD team, we get great joy in seeing our Sisters taking time out to relax and enjoy each other's company. What a great blessing!
