School Sisters of Notre Dame Alumni

We educate with the conviction that the world can be changed through the transformation of persons.

You Are Sent, the Constitution of the School Sisters of Notre Dame

The School Sisters of Notre Dame invite you to take a walk down memory lane, through the halls of the schools you attended. Enjoy the slides below of photos from those days.  We hope you can find your own beloved alma mater within these videos.

Do you feel called to share your story? Or have photos or SSND school or Sisters memories you want to share

Were you taught by SSNDs? Perhaps your life was positively influenced by them in other ways?

We would love to share your stories here!

Please reach out to Laurie Molner lmolner@amssnd.org or (203) 761-9732 ext. 3201

We will share your messages with our Sisters!

Alumni Stories

When I was invited by SSND Associate Mary Anne O’Donnell to share a personal reflection at the associate covenant ceremony in Baltimore this June, I wanted to say, “Nope – not me…” But something happened when I opened my mouth to respond to the invitation.
I was given organ lessons in seventh grade by Sister Mary Alvin, now Arline Jaeger, at Saints Peter and Paul School in Gary, Indiana in 1950.
I am an alumni of St. Augustine’s Catholic School in Elkridge, Maryland. I attended first grade through seventh grade there and was taught by a bevy of wonderful teachers and nuns who inspired and mentored me into becoming the strong woman I am today.
