During the time of COVID, travel to Haiti has not been possible. However, the intrepid SSND Teacher Trainers have found a way to have Teacher Training continue. NDMU Education Department faculty member, Lisa Pallett has been creating Teacher Training videos for Math in Grades 1-3 and calendars for learning activities.
As you look at slide two, on the left side you will see a link to a video produced by Lisa, and on the right side of the video, is Lisa’s training translated into creole by Haitian teacher Farrah Saint Juste. This is an amazing example of the commitment of these women to education under the most challenging circumstances.
