On May 25, Notre Dame of Maryland University honored Sister Margaret Ellen Mahoney, SSND (pictured near right), an English professor and former department chair, for her golden jubilee of 60 years as an SSND and for 35 years of service to NDMU. During the annual Partners in Mission celebration for faculty and staff with milestone anniversaries, NDMU President Marylou Yam recognized Sister Margaret Ellen for her outstanding service to the Notre Dame community.
In addition, Sister Paulette Doyas, SSND (not pictured), was honored for 45 years of service to NDMU – she works as an office assistant in the Registrar’s Office. In all, 33 faculty and staff celebrated milestone anniversaries.
