Rainwater Harvesitng 2021 Reports
Project Summary. This project supported 86 families on Lagonav Island to install home rainwater harvesting systems, which included gutters, faucets, pipes, and cisterns (Tuff Tanks). These systems facilitate families to access stored rainwater for irrigation of backyard vegetable gardens and for household use (cooking and hygiene). To achieve this project, Beyond Borders collaborated with long-term partner organization Asosyasyon Animatè Peyizan Lagonav (AAPLAG) – the Lagonav Farmer-Organizers Association.
