When JuQuetta Adams arrived at Caroline Center as a student, she was determined to build a new path for herself. Through hard work and persistence, she succeeded in graduating from the Pharmacy Technician program. Today, she not only leads that program, but she has also been selected for inclusion in the 2026 edition of Marquis Who’s Who, a national honor recognizing individuals who have made meaningful contributions in their professions and communities.
In her current role, JuQuetta teaches and mentors future pharmacy technicians while building partnerships that open doors for our students.
Last spring, she single-handedly applied for a grant that brought immunization training opportunities to Caroline Center; a tremendous boost for our women as they prepare to enter the healthcare workforce.
“Ms. Quetta makes me feel supported here,” said Nasreen Satari, a current pharmacy tech student at Caroline Center. “She makes me feel inspired and hopeful about my journey.”
JuQuetta's influence has also reached beyond our organization. This past July, she addressed the Pharmacy Technician Educators Council Conference in Ohio, where she shared her insights on pharmacy education and workforce development.
Being named to Marquis Who’s Who is a remarkable honor. This honor is one shared by influential figures such as Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelou, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. But for us at Caroline Center, it’s more than a national recognition; it’s a celebration of what happens when women lift each other up.
Today, JuQuetta is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in healthcare management at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Her story is living proof that with resilience, support, and the right opportunity, women can achieve extraordinary things.
