On December 8, Pope Francis opened the Holy Door of Mercy at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome and throughout all dioceses in the world Holy Doors have been opened.
What about the holy doors we use each day? Consider the doors we use to enter our homes, schools, work places and our gathering places. By recognizing these as Holy Doors we are reminded to refl ect upon how we enter these places and what happens once we cross the threshold.
