Global Sisters Report has an Advent tradition of offering a virtual Advent retreat. This year it is with Sr. Nancy Sylvester, IHM.

Advent anticipates the fulfillment of the promise of Jesus’ birth and the hope of the second coming. This hour of prayer and reflection will draw on moments in Scripture to help us awaken to what promises are in us and how we can foster them to fulfillment.

 

We invite you to step aside from the busyness and "rest awhile" with us for this one-hour retreat.

A Conversation with Members of Springfield's Haitian Community

Join our partner, Beyond Borders, for a virtual conversation with members from the Haitian Community’s Help and Support Center in Springfield, on Wednesday, Oct. 23rd at 7 pm Eastern. We will listen and learn and express solidarity with the community, as well as discuss some concrete ways that you can help the Haitian people in Springfield.
