Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Mother Seton Academy celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. At Mother Seton Academy, we also participated in the recent celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. As part of our preparations, our Hispanic students, with help from our media specialist Sr. Jeanne Barasha, SSND, formed a committee to plan how to celebrate the occasion.
