Our Sisters

School Sisters of Notre Dame continue to live the vision of Foundress Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger in a variety of ways. Below our Sisters share stories of their work and ministry.

We go forth daily in the spirit of Mother Theresa, remembering her words: "Poor and abandoned, we began the work of God in supernatural faith and confidence... let us continue to serve the Triune God all our Lives with Joy."

Sisters in the News

It was my first Christmas in Bolivia. Bolivia didn't have snow. It was so poor that it looked the same on Christmas as any other day, except for one place in every home. A table in the front room held a Christmas creche and food and tiny ceramic tchotchkes.
Sisters, friends and staff helped Sister Catherine Manning celebrate 100 years on December 29, 2023 at Villa Assumpta. It was a fun - and delicious - party!
‘Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the 8th floor The sisters at Ozanam had a party galore The Watermark gifts had been delivered earlier with care, In hopes that Bern, Rebecca, and Nancy soon would be there.
