Jubilee 2020
In 1864, Mother Theresa introduced the tradition of celebrating with the Jubilarians.“This year on April 17 and October 28 a number of Sisters will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their profession, and may this celebration, God willing, be repeated in the coming years for the Sisters after them."
Under the COVID-19 quarantine Marian Village continues to follow the guidelines. However they did recently find a way to recognize their Jubilarians Sister Marlene Panko (60th Jubilee) and Sister Jenny VandenBergh (70th Jubilee) with a small celebration.
The 2020 Jubilee Board at Villa Notre Dame, composed by Sr. Justine Nutz, honors our 42 living AM Jubilarians and four who recently said a final YES to God: Clara Hounsell, Irene Scarola, Mary Bann, and Betty Rosser.
