To me, Ordinary Time might better be called ‘Grace Time,’ or ‘Growth Time,’ or ‘Bonding Time.’
During Ordinary Time, we walk with Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and all the Apostles.
We have time to read, pray, and meditate on the Scriptures.
We grow closer to the Lord, realize God’s faithful presence in our lives, and then, in turn, live a life of deep thanksgiving, giving glory and praise to God.
We are graced by God’s Spirit; we grow in union with Jesus; we unite in the dance of the Holy Trinity.
Ordinary Time is not ordinary at all but a spiritually active, grace-filled time as we travel with Jesus through His life on this earth, on this planet, in our cosmos.
