School Sisters Of Notre Dame, Atlantic-Midwest Province Install New Provincial Council

The Atlantic-Midwest Province of the School Sisters of Notre Dame have installed a new Provincial Leadership Council on December 8th, the feast of the Immaculate Conception, at the Stella Maris chapel in Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland. Reverand Joseph Muth presided.
After previously serving as Councilor, Sister Nancy Gilchriest, SSND, now begins her ministry as Provincial Leader of the province.
"In transitioning from the position of Councilor to Provincial Leader, I find myself filled with gratitude for all the Sisters across the Province," Sister Nancy said. "Visits with them over the past four years offered me the wisdom to trust God and be faithful to our vows. I have found that God’s presence has been before, after and in every conversation. Those times have been the greatest privilege. I am grateful to be able to continue to serve our Sisters with our Councilors."
