Notre Dame Learning Center (NDLC) in Rochester, NY, one of our sponsored ministries, received a wonderful award on Saturday, April 9 from the Trinity Council of the Knights of Columbus.
The Knights presented Sister Evelyn Breslin with a check for $12,200 for the Center, which will go a long way in assisting them with the tutoring work of the Sisters and their volunteers.
"I was at a loss for words when the Knights of Columbus presented the check to me for Notre Dame Learning Center," said Sister Evelyn Breslin, director of the Center. "This was truly an endorsement of the good works of our volunteer tutors, Board of Trustees, staff, parents and children of NDLC’s continuing our vision of 'transforming the lives of Rochester children through educational support.' ”
