National Association Honors Notre Dame Prep Educators for Third Consecutive Year!

Mrs. Marianne Reichelt (Baltimore, MD 21228), Notre Dame Preparatory School English teacher, has received NCEA’s Lead. Learn. Proclaim. Award. The award honors those teachers who demonstrate strong Catholic educational philosophy as well as exceptional ability, skills, and results. A parishioner at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Baltimore City, Mrs. Reichelt will receive the award at NCEA’s Annual Convention in April in Chicago, Illinois.

NCEA winner Marianne Reichel has been at Notre Dame Prep for 17 years, she has served as English Department chair, co-chair of NDP’s Middle States Re-Accreditation effort, and most notably, as acting principal, stepping in when the existing administrator left for medical leave. At the parish level, Mrs. Reichelt has served as a religious education teacher, liturgy planner, and marriage preparation speaker.
