Several of NDLC’s students and their families enjoyed a scenic, narrated roundtrip cruise on the Genesee River this summer.
The students saw various aquatic wildlife and learned how the river and canal made Rochester the Young Lion of the West. One of the highlights of the cruise was the stunning view of downtown Rochester as the boat headed back to port.

On another day it was Batter up! Our tutors, students, and their families enjoyed an afternoon of baseball at Innovation Field - the home of the Rochester Red Wings.
Students cheered on their home team while munching on hot dogs, popcorn, and ice cream sundaes.
