Notre Dame Preparatory School was named for the ninth consecutive year among The Baltimore Sun list of Top Workplaces. Each year since the inception of the program, NDP has been included among this esteemed list of Baltimore employers.
“What an honor this is, especially since it results from feedback from our employee community,” says Sister Patricia McCarron, SSND, PhD, headmistress. “Over the years, research has borne out that our faculty and staff feel deeply engaged with NDP’s mission of transformative education, and they are especially energized by our students.”
When asked why NDP is a great place to work, Dr, Marcelle Williams, Upper Level religion teacher, replied, “I get to be a part of a community that is dedicated to the development of young women who will go on and transform the world.”
The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon feedback from an anonymous employee survey that the faculty and staff filled out back in August.
Founded in 1873 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Preparatory School is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for 800 girls in grades 6-12. The School Sisters of Notre Dame still sponsor and operate the school, which is dedicated to educating girls to become young women who will transform the world.
