A Stella Maris Snowflake Party

By Sister Kathleen Jager, SSND

“It snowed last night. It snowed last night!” The Notre Dame Prep Middle Level students sang the fun winter song to the Sisters at Stella Maris. They added hand movements to their song.

This was just one of several activities that the students and Sisters engaged in during the “Snowflake Party” organized by the NDP Middle Level Campus Ministers on January 30.

Each Stella Maris Sister was first gifted with a snowflake necklace and crown to wear.
The Sisters and students then played a few snowball games together. Some even engaged in a snowball fight or two (with plush tennis ball-like snowballs)!

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed delicious snowflake cupcakes while visiting together.

And what Snowflake Party would be complete without a lively rendition of Frosty the Snowman?
As Sisters and students said good-bye, the girls from NDP each received a relic of St. John Neumann.
