There are ample reasons to feel self-protective, guarded, and defended in our lives today, and an abundance of events and dynamics that trigger our fears and angers. How can we make the choice - over and over again - to welcome the one we encounter as a fellow human, to “be” care?
Join us for a morning of reflection, conversation, and sharing with Janice Campbell. We’ll reflect on our own lived experiences of encounters, face-to-face and heart-to-heart: moments when we have inquired of a loved one, a colleague, or a stranger, some version of “What’s going on with you?” And how we responded in moments when others have taken the time to ask us, and to listen. We’ll draw on a practice that dates to Old Testament times, creating a sacred space for care-filled encounters.
Dr. Campbell practices acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Somatic Touch in Baltimore, Maryland. Worldwide, she provides businesses with a grounded, connected, receptive experience through Distance Mind Body IntegrationSM, a somatically guided meditation that brings them into their bodies, aware of their senses, and into connection as a larger group.
Join us Saturday, December 7, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM ET via Zoom.
