School Sisters of Notre Dame continue to live the vision of Foundress Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger in a variety of ways. Below our Sisters share stories of their work and ministry.
Sisters Stories
On Sunday May 11, we hosted a special Mother's Day Tea at Waterdown. It included a May Crowning Sing Along, two special guests, and a time for sharing memories!
On May 14th, the Sisters at Villa Assumpta devoted time to honoring Mary. Many gathered physically in the Chapel, and others participated through closed-circuit TV. The prayer was led by our 2025 SSND Jubilarians. The Opening Song was “Immaculate Mary.”
Last week, our 17 Sisters at Ozanam gathered with some of the residents to celebrate two SSND birthdays. Sister Marguerite Bunter was thrilled to mark her 103 years! Sister Loreen Spaulding celebrated 88 years!

Each year, we honor and celebrate our sister Jubilarians. Jubilee is a special time to rejoice with our Sisters as they celebrate their 25, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75, or 80 years of faithful love and service to God.
