The Sisters at Stella Maris attended a moving and inspiring prayer service for Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Tuesday, October 8.
The service included a reflection from a breast cancer survivor, prayers, and songs supporting those who are struggling with a cancer diagnosis in their lives.
All Stella Maris staff and residents were encouraged to write the name of someone they knew who was dealing with breast cancer on a pink ribbon.
Sisters in attendance included Mary Michael Tashiro, Kathleen Engers, Maria Felipe Lopez, Marie Mack, Madeline Keller, Patrice Geppi, Kay Lehner, Peg Mattare and Pat Glinka.
