On Friday, March 1, the Class of 2030 took part in their first of many spiritual retreats together at Notre Dame Prep. The retreat’s main theme was Discovering Who You Are As a Child of God.
Led by Sister Kathy Jager, SSND, Middle Level Campus Minister, the retreat focused on the Disney movie, Moana, which students watched previously in religion class.
Students discussed their favorite characters and parts from the movie and took part in some NDP-, SSND-, and Moana-themed trivia led by Ms. Sharon Moser, Middle Level Language Teacher.
To conclude the retreat, students wrote and shared their own version of Psalm 139.
It was a wonderful day of connection and collaboration in the Class of 2030’s first year together at NDP!
