Congratulations! For more than two years, we have examined paragraphs from Laudato Si’ in succession, from the encyclical’s first chapter through its final chapter six. We pray that by this, other offerings, and your own initiatives, you have deepened your understanding and commitment to integral ecology, realizing that protecting human dignity is intrinsically linked to care for creation. Our ecological conversion is not complete, however. Our Congregational commitment impels us forward to keep learning and growing.
This Sunday, September 1, is the start of the ecumenical Season of Creation. It is also the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. As such, you are invited to a global prayer service at 9:00 am ET.
