Sister Rosa Maria Troches, spoke at Villa Assumpta about the extreme human rights crisis in Honduras and the need for solidarity from the U.S. faith community. Since then, religious and lay women and men have taken action in a variety of ways, including participation in the Interfaith Root Causes of Migration Pilgrimage last month. The delegation's hope was to deepen bonds of solidarity with Honduras and, in particular, to offer the visit as a gesture of international accompaniment.
