In September, the Baltimore Ravens and the Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism announced that Sisters Academy of Baltimore was one of this year’s recipients of the 19th Annual Honor Rows Program presented by M&T Bank. Sisters Academy was named among the 14 youth groups and organizations throughout Maryland selected for providing outstanding volunteer service to their communities. Sisters Academy students were nominated for this award by Ms. Jayna Powell, Volunteer Coordinator at Paul’s Place, where our 7th grade students fulfill service to the community once a month throughout the school year.
To celebrate our award, M&T Bank and the Baltimore Ravens provided our students with tickets to the Ravens vs. Bengals game on November 18th. The students will receive special Honor Rows T-shirts, an on-field pre-game photo, and they will be featured on the RAVENSVISION video screen throughout game.
If you can’t tune in on Sunday, then don’t miss out on Thursday November 15th when WBAL-TV features Sisters Academy as an Honors Rows recipient during the 5:00-6:00 p.m. news hour. GO RAVENS and WAY TO GO SISTERS ACADEMY!
