SAB Graduate: One Young Woman's Story

When I attended Sisters Academy of Baltimore back in 2015-2019, I quickly realized it is much more than a school. It's home, in many ways. Principal Sister Delia Dowling, the teachers, and the staff were our coaches, cheerleaders, mentors, and teachers. What makes this place so different, though, is that those important people continue to be important in our lives today.

Sisters Academy Students Visit Stella Maris Sisters

On December 13th, students from Sisters Academy visited with the Sisters at Stella Maris. We chatted together, toured the building to see the Christmas decorations at Stella Maris, and colored Christmas pictures together. It was beautiful to see the connection the students made with the Sisters!

The 2023 Milch Award goes to Sisters Academy

The Milch Award recognizes one community group, organization, or agency annually that contributed most significantly to the betterment of the intellectual, cultural, social, or commercial life of greater Baltimore over the past year.

Kaliq Hunter Simms Named Next President of Sisters Academy of Baltimore

Kaliq Hunter Simms has been named the second president of Sisters Academy of Baltimore, effective July 1, 2023. In this position, Simms will lead the school as it continues to provide an excellent education to middle school girls who live primarily in Southwest Baltimore.

Sisters Academy Students Create Creative Medical Devices

Inspired by our congregations of founding Sisters at Sisters Academy of Baltimore, and led by the direction of Ms. TraceyAnn Smith, the students in grades 5-8 created portable medical devices to solve everyday problems as part of a theater prop project.
