On October 11-12, Ministry Services facilitated Session Three of the Ministry Formation Process, focusing on Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation (JPIC) and how SSND implements and advances the JPIC agenda. Also discussed was Catholic tradition, identity and Catholic social teaching.

For thirty years (1966-1996) she was a teacher at St. Alphonsus Grammar School on the north side of Chicago, teaching third and fourth graders alongside the School Sisters of Notre Dame. After retiring from teaching, she volunteered as a tutor and then helped with secretarial tasks in the parish office at St. Alphonsus Church.

My journey with the School Sisters of Notre Dame began in 2001 when my husband, Mike, and I met Sister Mary Oliver Hudon and Sister Carleen Cekal. They had just joined our parish, St. Ann Catholic Church, in West Palm Beach.
