The recent student victims of the Great Mills High School shooting in Maryland, as well as the 17 victims of the February 14, 2018 tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida are at the forefront of our minds and so press upon our hearts.

This was a way to show our government that we want to effect change. It was a way for us to have a voice when sometimes we feel so powerless.

IND, one of our sponsored ministries, had the pleasure of a visit from their SSND international sister-school from Kyoto, Japan on March 8.

A school tradition and a national event converged March 14th at the Academy of the Holy Angels, when Awareness Day dovetailed with student actions in solidarity with the survivors of the February 14th shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
